Seattle Erotic Art Festival
Overview (18+ only)
The Seattle Erotic Art Festival is a non-profit that showcases erotic art from around the world. Prior to my leadership, the design of the logo and website were counter to the messaging of the event. Secondarily the program had the problem of various volunteer designers coming in and out creating a variety of non-conforming content. In order to bring some consistency to their program, I partnered closely with the Director & various art leads, to redesign the logo, website and marketing materials for the yearly event.
Skills demonstrated: Interaction Design, Visual Design, Print Design, Marketing and Publication.

Logo redesign
The previous logo actually spoke to religious connotations and as a forward focused sex positive business, this was not the message to send. I spent a long time sketching ideas and at the end of the day, I felt that the integration of the word ART through the entire name was a provocative and thoughtful way to demonstrate the the erotic nature of the the event.
Website re-design
I worked with a volunteer team to redesign and launch the new website. Most notably, I partnered with the amazing Emily Beauprey to deliver the final product. The collection below are a few example layouts. You can view the live site at www.seattleerotic.org
Creating consistency across assets
I created marketing assets that enabled the organization to garner support across a variety of mediums. This is the sponsorship deck used to garner support and explain the purpose and mission of the festival to prospective donors.
Tangible assets
It's always fun to make tangible things. The bookmarks, postcards and print artifacts, and pins are one of the reasons I love to volunteer my time with the Seattle Erotic Art Festival.
Each year, we select an Artist to partner with and feature. The featured Artist creates the overall visual or background to the theme of the event, and I create the graphic design and corresponding assets.
